Boombox Storage entered the playing field with a disruptive solution to storage, one that was more affordable than self-storage and required no customer labor. With a new, updated website, Boombox came to Victorious, ready to take on the competition. Except their competition were some of the biggest names in the industry, with marketing budgets to match.
Boombox knew organic search visibility was the competitive advantage they needed.
From Rookie Results to Ranking Champion
To drive search visibility for intent-focused traffic, Victorious focused on two key target audiences: college students moving to the San Francisco Bay Area and residents with limited storage. We further targeted seasonal periods (holiday storage, college breaks, residential moves, etc.), and developed a strategic calendar of data-driven deliverables.
Once we understood the keyword strategy, we acquired authoritative, thematically-relevant links from strong referring domains, with exact anchor phrases needed to target specific pages.
We also identified thematic groups of keywords that were driving traffic to competitors and not being tapped by the Boombox Storage site. Boombox was able to create key pieces of high-quality content to address and surpass the competition.
Now, the Boombox warehouse is nearly full to capacity, and the staff is growing to meet increasing demand.
