Memories are made at the table. CocuSocial set out to share their expertise, bringing people flavorful new experiences that expand palates and skill sets. Speaking of expansion, CocuSocial was ready to move into some new markets with the help of a dedicated SEO partner — and then the pandemic hit.
The Original Plan
Victorious’ initial strategy started with our creative content ideation process. We identified groups of keywords driving traffic to competitors that CocuSocial wasn’t targeting. Then we built out relevant topics, optimized for search better than the competitors, and wrote some killer content. To gain traction with especially competitive keywords, we complemented our content efforts with backlinks from high-authority websites.
The Pandemic Pivot
With rankings on the rise, along came Covid. Like many, CocuSocial had to make some changes when it was soon clear that in-person cooking events were no longer viable. As they pivoted their business model to support virtual classes, Victorious was right there with them, quickly adjusting their content strategy to fit a new search intent.
